Bernese school classes get traveling costs paid by the program Kultur und Schule.
For people with visual or hearing impairments, we offer special tours upon request.

Guided tour

Duration: 1 hour, plus playing the instruments at the end

Max. 30 persons

Price by arrangement. School classes, music schools and youth bands receive discounted prices.

In German, English, French or Italian
Special topics on request (e.g. alphorn, instrument manufactories, concentration on certain instruments)
The tours also visit the otherwise closed study collection.

You can arrange your guided tour to include an apéro.

Workshop

Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours approx.
5–25 persons
Price by arrangement

A Workshop consists of

  • A guided tour (see above)
  • Playing the instruments with instruction
  • Challenge or group activity with the instruments, age-appropriate

Guided tours and workshops visit also the subbasement: The Study Collection of over 1500 instruments, exhibited by instrument families and their history.
